Poems
by Linda
Harvey
Grounded
Suspended
between Hiroshima and Hanwell
leaving
the veneer of respectability
turbulence
inside and out
hurtling
towards reality
yet already missing
the 'onourable culture—
all
change,
Korea
upsets our now delicate senses,
bumpy ride—
Heathrow
is relentless—
without
Jesus
life is senseless.
Travelling
back to London after two weeks in Japan.
