Poems
by Charles
Jobson
>
A closely guarded secret
Under
one roof a divided household,
refraining
from acts of community,
bitter
and resentful.
All
the years passing
cannot
erase the hurt that lies within,
minds
bound by a spirit of hate.
What’s
needed is a friendly face,
beaming
with encouragement and trust,
breaking
down walls and building up.
Finally
the hope is there
that
gleaming faith and patience
will
win through:
a
total
state of reconciliation,
a
chance
for all to grow.
