Charing Cross Hospital

The Oncology Department 
at Charing Cross

All in the same boat
still afloat

some holding on
others just begun

                                a different journey

eyes seeking recognition
tears so near hidden

fear of the unknown beast
in bodies once so strong

and now a different song
Come, come Lord Jesus

fill us with hope
where there is none

your love goes beyond
into eternity
